Set in a time similar to the 1920s America, but this is no Earth, the world is young and hyper-oxygenated. 

The terrain holds sprawling giant fungi trees and temperate forests, swampland, and rocky jagged mountains and plains. The atmosphere is highly oxygenated with creating the giant plants, but also giant animals. New different takes on prehistoric creatures and cryptids populate the untamed world, but also the climbing walled cities of the terren people. The dangers of flash fires are capable of melting steel and crumbling mortar in brick buildings.
